Grenada hosted the inaugural conference of the Commonwealth Caribbean Association of Integrity Commissions and Anti-Corruption Bodies (CCAICAB) in June 2015, which was funded by the Commonwealth Secretariat
The second annual conference was held in Trinidad and Tobago Feb/March 2016. Grenada’s executive membership was extended for another year.
The third annual conference was held in Jamaica - April 24th - 28th, 2017.
The purpose of the Commission, in accordance with the Integrity in Public Life Act No.24 of 2013, is to improve governance through ensuring integrity in public life, to obtain declarations of assets, liabilities, income and interests in relation to persons in public life and to give effect to the provisions of the Inter-American Convention against Corruption, to which Grenada is a signatory.
