Public Education Initiatives

  • Sharing with the Public Series.
  • Newspaper Questions and Answers Series.
  • Media Presentations.
  • Town Hall Meeting Victoria in collaboration with UNCAC representatives.
  • Declarant education with Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF), Customs & Excise Division, Senior Managers, Boards, and other Public Officers.
  • Presentations to Senior Managers, Boards and other Public Officers.
  • Meetings with groups on preparation for declarations.
  • Educational Outreach commenced with Religious Bodies  in keeping with  the Communiqué of the Second Annual CCAICACB Conference. Seventy-five (75) Introductory letters sent to Church Leaders. Meetings with Church Leaders are scheduled.
  • Outreach with Government Ministries and Departments commenced at the end of 2016 with presentations to – Customs & Excise Division, Immigration and Prisons Departments. Presentations covered aspects of Ethics and Integrity, the Integrity in Public Life and Prevention of Corruption Acts and the filing of Declarations. Outreach will recommence in June 2017.
  • Outreach with Statutory Bodies is scheduled.

About Us

The purpose of the Commission, in accordance with the Integrity in Public Life Act No.24 of 2013, is to improve governance through ensuring integrity in public life, to obtain declarations of assets, liabilities, income and interests in relation to persons in public life and to give effect to the provisions of the Inter-American Convention against Corruption, to which Grenada is a signatory.
